Photo Experiments, New Pool

Photo Experiments
Dad decided to get creative and digitally inserted me into the following pictures. Just in case you're wondering, the answer is no, I don't smoke cigars!

New Pool
It's extremely hot in Tokyo at the moment, so we have to refresh ourselves in any way possible. Here's my new "car pool", which is currently parked on our balcony. I can't swim laps in it, but it's nice to jump in on a hot summer day.

Summer Update...

It's that time again...

Wow, can't believe that the summer is already half over. It sure is hot in Japan. Last week, we had record heat and it has been much of the same this week.

Here are a few pics to update you on the past few months, including our trip to Osaka, day out with Na-chan, Nicola & Kanamaru-sensei's visit, visit to Zushi to see Tomoko & Sara and a few events at school.

Enjoy!

Trip to Osaka (July 17)
Most recently, we went to Osaka where my Japanese grandma lives. We took advantage of being there to visit Universal Studios, plenty of friends and a few other sites including the Osaka Aquarium and the Transportation Museum. I had a great time, especially trying out all the Osaka trains, subways and the monorail from the airport.

Day Out with Na-chan and her mom
(June 6)
We went out to Ueno Zoo with my mom's friend Mariko and her daughter Na-chan. We saw some animals and best of all, we got to try the Ueno Zoo suspended monorail. We finished off the afternoon at the Hard Rock Café near Ueno station.

Nicola & Kanamaru (May 29)
Visit from two of my favourite kindie teachers, Nicola-sensei & Kanamaru-sensei
I played a lot with Shoei (Nicola's son). The evening wore me out, as you can see on the right.

Visit to Zushi with Tomoko & Sara (May 22)
It was nice to see auntie Tomoko and Sara-chan again. Sara is growing fast. We went to Zushi, near auntie Tomoko's place, and spent the night at the marina.
Of course... we took one of my favourite trains to get there, the Enoden!
